Who this notice covers

This notice applies to the public website at organizeddatagovernance.com and its synthetic demonstration. Organized Data Governance is an independent business owned and operated by Kyle Wisniewski. It is not an official University of Denver or Daniels College of Business property and does not claim their endorsement.

A client application may require different privacy and security terms based on its data, users, and architecture. Those terms would be established with that client and are outside this public-site notice.

Why we use analytics

We use anonymous measurements to answer practical questions:

• How people find the site at a broad source or campaign level.
• Whether the public demo explains the product and where people stop.
• Which fictional workspaces and defined calls to action are useful.
• Whether pages load, respond, and remain visually stable across device types.

These measurements help us improve the site and evaluate its business usefulness.

What the analytics collect

Our site sends only an approved set of events and properties. The categories are:

Page context

A sanitized path and broad page type, such as the homepage, demo portal, or a demo workspace. We remove arbitrary query strings and do not send free-form URLs.

Defined interactions

A small set of named events and approved values, such as opening the demo, selecting a call to action, or starting and completing a guided experience.

Demo viewpoint

The fictional role selected in the demonstration, such as CEO or CFO. We do not treat that selection as the visitor’s real job or identity.

Technical context

Coarse device information needed to compare mobile and desktop experiences, plus Core Web Vitals used to diagnose loading, responsiveness, and layout stability.

The referring domain and a limited allowlist of sanitized campaign tags, such as source, medium, and campaign. Full referring paths and unapproved campaign fields are not retained.

What we do not collect with analytics

• Names, email addresses, employers, account profiles, or visitor identifiers
• Analytics cookies, local-storage identifiers, device fingerprints, or cross-visit profiles
• Form entries, typed text, email contents, or other free-form visitor input
• Session recordings, heatmaps, automatic click capture, console logs, or exception details
• Arbitrary URLs, search terms, query strings, or unapproved campaign fields
• Synthetic demo record contents or activity inside a private client application
• Precise location or an IP address stored as an analytics event property

Like any website, the services that deliver a page receive connection data needed to complete the request. The list above describes what our analytics configuration is designed not to capture or retain as behavioral analytics.

Analytics service, processing, and retention

We use PostHog as our web analytics service provider. The project is configured for anonymous, cookieless collection in PostHog’s United States region. We do not enable session replay, heatmaps, automatic interaction capture, or persistent analytics identifiers.

Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months and then deleted under the project’s retention settings. We do not sell analytics data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.

Browser privacy signals

We honor browser-supplied Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. When the browser sends DNT: 1 or enables Global Privacy Control, our analytics code does not initialize or send events for that visit.
